After days of staring at the blank space at the top of my app’s launch screen, I finally added the logo.
It’s a small thing – just an image, really. But when I opened the app and saw it there, centered like a quiet welcome, it felt like the app had taken a breath for the first time. It no longer looked like a test or a placeholder. It looked like something I made.
Strangely, it only took two simple lines of code to fix. And yet, anything involving adding or changing something still feels overwhelmingly hard. Every step is a learning curve, and even the smallest updates feel like climbing a hill.
I still have so far to go. There are so many features I want to add, so many things I want to improve. But tonight, I’ll let that wait. For now, I’ll just hold onto this one small win. The app has a name, and now, a face!! 🎉🎉😎
